Mansfield Qualters Middle School Boiler Replacement

This heavy mechanical and plumbing project involved upgrading the entire middle school heating and hot water plant to replace an aging system that had become a maintenance challenge. 

Coordination started well before boots on the ground with large piping, equipment, and accessory items requiring careful placement to allow initial installation and future maintenance to happen seamlessly. Sterling led a team of trade partners and the design team down a path to success by embracing continuous collaboration throughout the entire project. Steam boilers, hot water boilers, pumps, and VFDs were selected, ordered, and tracked to dovetail with the construction schedule to ensure milestone dates were met and students, faculty, and staff would have hot water and heat in time for the new school year.
