The existing pharmacy was upgraded to USP 797 and USP 800 standards to ensure a sterile environment and allow for the safe handling of hazardous drugs. Work was organized in three distinct phases to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the operating pharmacy throughout construction. The upgraded facility included new configurations for chemotherapy, IV preparation, and ante rooms, as well as new HVAC equipment.
